Recycled Glass

I have 4x8 sheets of glass from a closet door that I am trying to recycle. They are backed with a mesh like material for strength. Can i cut these with a score and snap? Also, I had a plate glass mirror. I assume I can snap it with a good score and a little pressure. Right?
